Please let me introduce myself.

My name is Tony Armstrong and, with my team, I help MD’s break their businesses out of being stuck in commodity central and shift across to the True Partner Quadrant.

And I guarantee results when doing it.

Now, in my experience, there are two types of MD’s.

The first are blinkered individuals who try to do everything alone, won’t listen to anyone and are willing to risk it all – both personally and in the business – because their ego would rather they stay stuck than consider new ideas or accept external help. Meaning they’re not getting the results they deserve because they’re always trying to learn everything the hard way … and in the process often making many painful mistakes, that could have been avoided.

The second are the MD’s who understand what their success is worth to them, have a deep sense of integrity and a strong desire to build a business that provides for them, their family, their team and their customers. MD’s who are happy to short cut their success by leveraging any knowledge, experience, ideas or feedback that helps them see their situation more clearly. Which, of course, enables them to reach their goals faster, easier and with less stress – as well as make decisions with more certainty.

I call these two groups “Struggling Loners” and “Result Realists”.

The “Struggling Loners” feel stuck and frustrated by their situation so look for magic pills to solve their problems and have the tendency to blame others, rather than proactively taking responsibility. I don’t deal with that kind of person.

Whereas the “Result Realists” are the group I deal with. Because they just get on with it and understand the true value that external perspective and fresh ideas taken from many sectors can bring to their business. They also intuitively know that to get sustainable and long term beneficial results often requires a step back to look at the business as a whole.

  2. In Company Assessment & Immersion
    The second step is to spend time in person with you and your team members across the organisation – so that we understand your strengths and weaknesses from a sales, marketing and operations perspective. This includes going out with your salespeople to see how they perform in the field and meet your customers, spending time listening in on internal sales calls, reviewing your marketing and speaking to a cross-section of your customers.

  3. Master plan creation
    Once the first two steps are complete and we have a good sense of your business, then together, we formulate a long term action and ongoing support plan that will, typically over 12 months to 18 months, lead your business towards a 20% sales uplift or more.

    This initially focuses on how to differentiate your business by ethically changing your customer and prospect perceptions of your business so that you become the obvious choice – even if you’re selling exactly the same products as your competitors. Meaning it’ll be easier for your sales team to win new clients, close down the existing pipeline and grow the value of existing customers – without having to bend over backwards to discount or provide one-off specials just to win the business

  4. Execution and support
    Depending on what’s required in your business, we then partner with you and your team and give you all the support you need. This includes everything from having an unbiased confidant you can personally discuss problems and ideas with, ongoing support for your sales and marketing team, detailed product analysis, ongoing innovation strategy, done-for-you disruptive marketing and real-world sales team training, support and co-selling.
